Higher Structures
Higher structures are mathematical objects that contain hierarchies of higher-dimensional data, such as topological spaces (higher homotopy) or chain complexes (higher homology). They can be studied most effectively using the methods of higher category theory. We are further developing these methods with a view to applications in algebra and geometry. Our research group focuses on higher categorical structures in algebra and geometry.
