I am an Editor for the Journal of Nonlinear Science, co-initiator of the Lowlands Dynamics Seminar (with VU Amsterdam) as well as a member of the Scientific Committee for the Hanseatic Dynamical Systems Days. From 2019 through 2025 I was a member of the MIN Faculty Council (Fakultätsrat) of the University of Hamburg.
