Together with my group we develop numerical methods, which can represent multi-scale geophysical processes. These are for example:

  • adaptive two- and three-dimensional tracer dispersion
  • adaptive numerical methods for inundation and tsunami simulation
  • multi-scale representation of sub-grid processes in climate simulation
