(1) Konferenzessen. Gestern abend nach dem Hauptvortrag von Simon Thomas zum
Thema A descriptive view of infinite dimensional unitary representations kamen die
Teilnehmer der Jahrestagung zu einem Abendessen in den Mozartsälen der Provinzialloge von
Niedersachsen zusammen, bei dem Heiko Knoblauch vom Speisekabinett sie mit einem
Dreigängemenu (mit einem Hauptgang vom Angeliter Sattelschwein und einer
veganen Desserttrilogie) verwöhnte. Zwischen Hauptgang und Dessert hielt DMV-Präsident
Volker Bach eine Rede, in der er unter anderem auf die Wichtigkeit der uneingeschränkten
Untersuchung der positiven und negativen Aspekte der Geschichte der DMV hinwies.
| (1) Conference dinner. Yesterday night, after Simon
Thomas's keynote lecture on A descriptive view of infinite dimensional unitary
represenations, the participants of our congress convened for the conference dinner in the
Mozartsäle of the Provincial Lodge of Lower Saxony where Heiko Knoblauch of the
Speisekabinett gave them the chance to indulge in a three-course dinner (with Angeln Saddleback as the main course and
a vegan trio of desserts). Between the main course and pudding, the president of the DMV gave a
speech in which he emphasized the importance of the unrestricted investigation of all positive and
negative aspects of the history of the DMV.

| (3) Preisverleihung Studierendenkonferenz. Heute von
11 bis 12 findet im Foyer des Hauptgebäudes am Stand des Springer-Verlags die
Preisverleihung durch den DMV-Präsidenten für die Studierendenkonferenz im Rahmen eines
Sektempfangs statt. Nutzen Sie die Gelegenheit, um die nächste Generation der deutschen
Mathematiker kennenzulernen.
| (3) Award Ceremony Students' Conference. Today, trom
11am to 12pm, the prizes of the Students' Conference will be awarded by the president of the DMV
in a reception at the Springer-Verlag booth. Use the opportunity to meet the next generation of
German mathematicians.

| (4) Mittagsseminar. Von 12:30 bis 15 Uhr lädt die
DMV zum Mittagsseminar Mathematik in Industrie und Gesellschaft ein, bei dem alle
Teilnehmer einen Mittagsimbiß erhalten und dann gut gestärkt Impulsreferaten von
hochkarätigen Referenten aus dem außerakademischen Bereich zuhören und mit ihnen
diskutieren.
| (4) Mittagsseminar. From 12:30pm to 3pm, the DMV
invites everyone to the Mittagsseminar Mathematik in Industrie und Gesellschaft. Everyone
will be fed before high profile speakers give short presentations about mathematics in the
non-academic sector and discuss with the participants.
