Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems

The research focuses on the analysis of partial differential equations. In particular, the research group works on problems in fluid mechanics which have direct applications in engineering, oceanography, and meteorology. By means of (nonlinear) PDE theory, calculus of variation, and harmonic analysis the challenge is to extract information on the dynamics of turbulent fluids by quantitative analyses.
