AI literacy workshops in higher education

With Christian Herzog, I co-lead workshops that support reflection on AI and its use in higher education.

Role
Workshop co-lead with Christian Herzog
Funding
Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre

The workshops bring participants together to explore AI literacy and reflect on responsible uses of AI in higher education.

RhetAI: research challenges on AI, rhetoric and education

I contribute to interdisciplinary RhetAI research challenges. In the 2026–2027 team for the Center for Humane Technology, we examine narratives in AI developers’ advertising. I also co-authored the white paper Navigating the AI Era in Higher Education as part of an earlier research challenge.

Ideas for future collaboration

Topics I would be interested in exploring with others include:

  • AI literacy, participatory technology design and fair access to education.
  • Science advice, public trust and the role of diverse forms of knowledge.
  • Communicating logic and mathematical research across languages and cultures.
  • Combining philosophy, the arts and visual storytelling to discuss science and society.
