ProgrammeOur Master’s degree course is divided into two parts. In the first year we offer you a variety of lecture courses and seminars. In the second year you will work on a research project, which culminates in your Master’s thesis. The introductory project gives you the opportunity to inform yourself on the state of research in a specialized field and in the preparatory project you will learn the mathematical methods which will enable you to work on your Master’s thesis. During the third and fourth term your studies will be supervised by a member of the Department. After completing the Master’s programme you may apply for admission to the PhD programme. The formal layout of the Master’s programme is illustrated in the schedule below. The term "ECTP" stands for "European Credit Transfer Points".
Typically, courses will be taught in English. |
