Moduli spaces of dilatation surfaces
Abstract: Translation surfaces are defined as surfaces endowed with an atlas such that transition maps are translations (up to finitely many points, called singularities). Along with this definition comes the moduli spaces of such structures, which were extensively studied for decades now for very different purposes, among which dynamical ones. Surprisingly, very little is known about their natural extension, the so-called dilatation structures. After having recalled some of the theory, we will investigate the moduli space of dilatation structures of a particular topological surfaces. T
