In my Emmy-Noether project, there is a Ph.D. position to be filled at the University of Hamburg. The topic will revolve around vertex algebras with connections to braided tensor categories, modular forms and symplectic geometry (somewhat depending on the interests of the candidate).
The candidate will have the chance to participate in the SFB 1624 Higher Structures, Moduli Spaces and Integrability and become part of an extremely active and stimulating community.
Starting date: between 07/2025 and 10/2025.
Duration: 3 years, no teaching obligation (salary 75% of TV-L level E13).
