Results: Example 1

The first example shows an easy task for the algorithm: the two pliers can both be decomposed into eight arcs, which correspond directly, hence in the groupmatching we have only simple one to one mappings.

How to understand the example:
The image shows the two figures to be compared in the stage of abstraction the decomposition is made. The groups in each figure are coloured in black and blue, alternating. The first group is coloured red. Corresponding groups have the same group-index, directly drawn beneath their starting point. The groups are numbered counterclockwise.
