Summer school on Differential Geometry and Supersymmetry

September 10-14, 2012
Hamburg

The purpose of this summer school is to bring together advanced students (Master's and graduate) and postdocs, of Mathematics and theoretical Physics, in the framework of four minicourses on topics of common interest. It will be held September 10-14, 2012, at the University of Hamburg.

The summer school is a joint activity of the Research Training Group 1670 "Mathematics inspired by String Theory and Quantum Field Theory" and the Collaborative Research Centre SFB 676 "Particles, Strings and the Early Universe".

Each of the four minicourses will consist of both lectures and exercise/discussion sessions. Topics are:
  1. G-Structures (D. Alekseevsky)
  2. Supergeometry (A. Galaev)
  3. Foliations (D. Töben)
  4. Supersymmetric Field Theories (A. van Proeyen)
You can download the conference poster here.

Courses will take place at the Department of Mathematics, Bundesstraße 55, in Lecture Hall 2. Please follow the link to obtain detailed information on how to get there.
