Title: On the minimal size of a basis for uncountable linear order

Abstract: Moore proves that the minimal size of basis for uncountable linear order is 5 under PFA. Under suitable large cardinal assumption, for any natural number $n>5$, we construct a ZFC model where the minimal size of a basis is $n$. This is a joint work with Yinhe Peng.
