We will present a new large-cardinal axiom intermediate in consistency strength between the indescribable cardinals and an omega-Erdos cardinal. 

We will examine the philosophical question of whether this large-cardinal axiom has an intrinsic justification, in the sense of the distinction between intrinsic and extrinsic justifications that was introduced by Godel.
