DLMPS/IUHPS grants for junior researchers The Division for Logic, Methodology and Philosophy of Science of the International Union for History and Philosophy of Science (DLMPS/IUHPS) is offering three DLMPS/IUHPS grants for junior researchers to cover their registration fees. Postgraduate students (both Master's and PhD students) and recent doctoral graduates are eligible to apply. The grant will cover the full registration fee (including conference dinner), but no accommodation or travel costs. Priority is given to applicants who are presenting a paper at FotFS VIII. In order to apply, please submit an application including a short CV (1 page) to b.loewe(at)uva.nl before the deadline of 31 May 2013.

Analysis Trust grants for junior researchers The Analysis Trust is offering two Analysis Trust grants for junior researchers to partially cover registration fees and accommodation. Postgraduate students (both Master's and PhD students) and recent doctoral graduates are eligible to apply. The grant will cover 50% of full registration fee plus accommodation, but no travel costs (up to a maximum of £ 375 each). Researchers affiliated to Cambridge University are not eligible to apply. Priority is given to applicants who are presenting a paper at FotFS VIII. In order to apply, please submit an application including a short CV (1 page) to b.loewe(at)uva.nl before the deadline of 31 May 2013.

The full registration fee for FotFS VIII (including the conference dinner in the historical dining hall of Corpus Christi College, one of the most beautiful dining halls of Cambridge) is £ 130. For participants who wish to skip the conference dinner, we are offering a registration fee excluding the dinner for £ 87.50.

You'll need to enter the dates of the conference (20 to 23 September 2013) in the calendar pulldown menu and add the Promotional Code LOWE13 in the appropriate field. Scrolling down, you will see some rooms offered by Corpus and three Ticket Types:

• Full Registration FotFS VIII for £ 130 (this includes the conference dinner for one person);
• Registration FotFS VIII without Conference Dinner for £ 87.50; and
• Additional Conference Dinner 22nd September 2013 for £ 42.50 (if you wish to book an additional seat at the conference dinner for an accompanying person).

Select the appropriate registration category and click on Next. You will see your shopping basket and can continue with your registration by clicking on Pay for my booking. On the next page, please enter your name and address. By clicking on Next, you'll get to a page asking about age and disabled access. Another click on Next will bring you to the payment page where you can pay by VISA, MasterCard or some debit cards.

The Terms & Conditions of the booking are accessible from these pages. Your registration can be cancelled until 5 September 2013 and your payment will be refunded (minus £ 10 administration charge). If you cancel later, only partial or no refund is possible.
