Arbeitsgruppe: Lie-Algebren über Körpern mit
positiver Charakteristik
In dieser Arbeitsgruppe interessieren wir uns hauptsächlich
für die folgenden Themen:
1. Die Klassifikation der
einfachen endlich dimensionalen Lie-Algebren über algebraisch abgeschlossenen
Körpern der Charakteristik $p>3$. Es besteht eine intensive Zusammenarbeit
mit
A.A. Premet (Manchester, U.K.) und S.M. Skryabin (Kazan,
Rußland). Das Ergebnis ist eine vollständige Lösung dieses
Problems.

2. Die
Konstruktion von möglichst vielen strukturell verschiedenen Klassen
von unendlich dimensionalen, aber lokal endlich dimensionalen Lie-Algebren
über beliebigen Körpern. Es besteht eine intensive Zusammenarbeit
mit Yu.A. Bahturin (Moskau),
A.A. Baranov (Leceister) und
I.
Penkov. Als Ergebnis erhoffen wir uns Beispielmaterial, an dem man
abschätzen kann, welche Eigenschaften bei dieser Klasse von lokal
endlichdimensionalen Lie-Algebren zu erwarten sind.
