Software

There are several packages or programs which allow to perform perform symbolic or numerical calculations in Lie algebras. Here we provide links to their home pages or provide information on how the programs are available.

As a general remark, let us point out that packages which provide their own environment, such as the LiE or the Schur package, are typically faster than programs which are embedded in an environment (such as Maple or Mathematica) with a much broader scope.
