Local Information.
As the site of the world's largest computer museum, Paderborn is a natural choice for the 2012 Colloquium
Logicum. Paderborn is in Western Germany, well connected by train to Hannover (2 hours), Düsseldorf (2
hours), Köln (2½ hours), and Frankfurt (3 hours). Paderborn has its own local airport with Lufthansa flights from Munich
and is connected by direct trains to Düsseldorf Airport and Hannover Airport. For train connections,
please use the website of the Deutsche Bahn.
Hotel accommodation is not very expensive in Paderborn. The booking website booking.com finds ten hotels between € 55 and € 100 a night
for the period of the conference. Standard options are:
