A new class of feedback laws for dynamical systems

A new class of feedback laws for the control of dynamical systems is presented. It is obtained by applying instantaneous control, i.e. control at every time step to the underlying dynamical system. This method can be interpreted as a suboptimal closed loop controller for the dynamical system. The parameters of the controller may be adjusted so as to stabilize the dynamical system under consideration. Several numerical examples are presented.
