I am a theoretical physicist with a strong interest in related mathematics. Specifically, my interests are Quantum Field Theories (supersymmetric and otherwise), String/M Theory and aspects of Representation Theory. While it is almost tautological to say that Quantum Field Theories and Representation Theory
are closely related, it turns out that we are discovering some very new aspects of this relationship. Exciting times!
The set of current problems that I think about include (but is not limited to) : classification of defects in 4d (S)QFTs and the role of endoscopic data in such classifications, six dimensional constructions using the theory X[j] and AdS/CFT for 4d N=2 theories. I am currently a postdoc associated with the Particles, Strings, and the Early Universe research group.
