(1) Studierendenkonferenz. Wir weisen unsere Teilnehmer darauf hin, dass die
Studierendenkonferenz der DMV als Teil unserer Tagung in Hamburg stattfindet:

Bei der jährlich stattfindenden Studierendenkonferenz tragen die
besten Master-Absolventinnen und Absolventen der deutschen Mathematik-Fachbereiche
über ihre Abschlußarbeiten vor und erhalten Preise wie
Forschungsaufenthalte an renommierten Instituten
(z.B. das Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics oder das
Mathematische Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach).
Wir legen allen Hochschullehrern unter unseren Teilnehmern nahe, Ihren Absolventinnen
und Absolventen des vergangenen Jahres die Teilnahme an der Studierendenkonferenz
ans Herz zu legen. Der Einsendeschluß ist der 31. August 2015. Weisen Sie sie
bitte auch darauf hin, dass die Anmeldungsgebühr über die
DMV-Studierendenstipendien
übernommen werden kann.

(1) Students' Conference. We remind all our participants that the DMV students' conference
will take place as part of our congress in Hamburg:

The annual DMV students' conference brings the best German Master graduates from the past academic
year together in order to present the research from their Master's theses. Students presenting
their work are eligible for prizes such as a visit to a German research institute (e.g.,
the Hausdorff Research Institute for Mathematics or the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut
Oberwolfach).
We ask all professors and lecturers among our participants to advertise the students' conference
among their recent graduates. The submission deadline is 31 August 2015. Please also remind
your students that the registration fee can be covered via the
DMV student grants.

| (2) Podiumsdiskussion. Am Abend des Dienstag
(22.9.2015) wird eine deutschsprachige Podiumsdiskussion zum Thema Wie viel Mathematik
brauchen Studierende der MINT-Fächer, gemeinsam organisiert mit der Akademie
der Wissenschaften in Hamburg, stattfinden. Auf dem Podium sitzen Vertreterinnen und
Vertreter der gemeinsamen Mathematik-Kommission Übergang Schule-Hochschule
von DMV, GDM und MNU, ein Professor eines MINT-Faches, eine Mathematik-Lehrerin und eine
Vertreterin der Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung der Freien und Hansestadt
Hamburg. Vor der Podiumsdiskussion gibt es einen vom Springer-Verlag mitfinanzierten

| (2) Panel discussion. In the evening of
Tuesday, 22 September 2015, we shall have a (German language) panel discussion on the
topic How much mathematics do students in STEM programme need?, jointly organized
with the Academy of Sciences in Hamburg. The panel consists of representatives of the joint
mathematics commission on the transition from school to university of DMV, GDM, and NMU,
a professor teaching in a STEM discipline, a mathematics teacher, and a representative
of the state ministry for education. Before the panel discussion there will be a
reception, partially sponsored by Springer.

| (3) Hörsäle. Die Jahrestagung findet
im Hauptgebäude der Universität Hamburg und seinen beiden Flügelbauten
(West und Ost) statt. Insgesamt haben wir sechs Hörsäle und 13
Seminarräume. Alle Räume sind mit Datenprojektoren und kleinen Tafeln
ausgestattet; wir gehen davon aus, daß in jedem Raum auch ein Computer ist. In den
sechs Hörsälen sind größere Tafeln vorhanden. Sie können eine
Liste aller Räume mit Lageplänen und Informationen zur Benennung der

Alle Plenarsitzungen finden im Ernst-Cassirer-Hörsaal (Hörsaal A) statt.
Die genaue Raumaufteilung der Sektionen und Minisymposien wird in den nächsten
Wochen angekündigt.
| (3) Lecture rooms. The congress will take
place in the main building of the University of Hamburg and its two wings (West and
East). In total, we are using six lecture halls and 13 seminar rooms. All rooms have
beamers and small boards; we expect to have computers in all rooms as well. In the six

All plenary sessions will be held in the Ernst-Cassirer Hall (Hörsaal A). The
